This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and sustain the product analytics data infrastructure that supports reporting, self-service, experimentation, and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering to establish, implement, and verify product instrumentation prior to feature launches.
• Design and uphold scalable dbt models that convert raw product events into reliable analytical datasets.
• Create semantic models, standardized business logic, governed metric definitions, and certified datasets.
• Drive analytics and visualization platforms such as Looker, Omni, and Hex.
• Work alongside Product Managers to transform business requirements into scalable, reliable, reusable analytical data models.
• Oversee product data pipelines and detect instrumentation gaps and data quality concerns.
• Execute scalable, long-term enhancements to product data quality.
• Enhance the modeling, governance, documentation, and consumption of product data.
• Utilize AI to expedite analytics engineering workflows, encompassing modeling, testing, documentation, and code development.
• Engage with Engineering, Product, Growth, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Over 6 years of experience in Product Data Analysis, Analytics Engineering, or a similar technical data role within a SaaS or high-growth technology organization.
• Proficient in SQL at an expert level.
• Extensive experience in designing scalable analytical data models.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and optimizing query performance.
• More than 6 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining dbt projects in production environments.
• Experience in modeling behavioral product data and creating event-driven analytical datasets.
• Proven track record of partnering with Engineering teams on product instrumentation requirements and ensuring product event data quality.
• Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms like Segment or RudderStack.
• Experience in designing semantic models, reusable business logic, governed datasets, and reliable metric definitions.
• Background in implementing data quality testing, documentation, observability, and governance best practices.
• Proficient with modern analytics and visualization platforms such as Looker, Omni, Hex, Sigma, or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of semantic models and governed metrics across dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI applications.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively partner with Engineering, Product, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Must currently reside and work in Canada.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

• Annual salary range from $125,200 to $195,600.
