Staff Machine Learning Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Identify, define, and lead research initiatives that have a company-wide impact and directly influence core metrics.

• Design and implement models, frequently utilizing deep neural networks, to forecast Internet users’ behaviors and preferences.

• Develop and evaluate new modeling strategies for challenges such as bidding in first-price auctions.

• Conduct and analyze A/B tests for new solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Machine Learning research and convert them into actionable enhancements.

• Mentor fellow researchers and influence research methodologies across various teams.

• Manage projects from inception through analysis, research, proof of concept, testing, implementation, and deployment.

• Write code, train models, conduct experiments, and deploy production machine learning systems.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and organize workflows efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a researcher or engineer.

• More than 2 years of practical experience in Machine Learning / Data Science.

• Proficiency in programming languages.

• Strong mathematical knowledge and intuition.

• Capability to resolve ambiguous problems by establishing goals, success metrics, and effective solutions.

• Practical ML expertise, including coding, model training, experimental execution, and production system deployment.

• Results-driven mindset focusing on straightforward, effective solutions.

• Leadership abilities to identify promising projects, formulate a vision, communicate with stakeholders, and execute plans.

• Ownership of projects from start to finish.

• Strong communication skills and organizational abilities.

• A solid theoretical foundation in statistics, probability, discrete mathematics, and combinatorics (preferred).

• Experience in AdTech (a plus, but not mandatory).
