Staff Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design and improve essential features for web applications.

• Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders throughout the organization to deliver products built on solid foundations.

• Create high-quality, end-to-end product experiences across various platforms.

• Enhance engineering standards, tools, and processes.

• Lead the team in alignment with both short-term and long-term strategic roadmaps.

• Make informed trade-offs by considering business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical framework.

• Identify, define, and oversee significant technical projects.

• Establish a foundation for early-stage products to develop and scale effectively.

• Simplify existing systems and enhance their reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in front-end development, including at least 3 years focused on React.

• Profound understanding of React principles and patterns, such as compound, presentational, and higher-order components.

• Experience in applying caching strategies or managing asynchronous states for applications handling high data loads.

• Strong expertise in web performance optimization and ensuring cross-platform compatibility.

• Proven experience in collaborating with engineering teams and other departments to foster alignment, facilitate decision-making, and maintain transparent communication.

• Background in mentoring and supporting the growth of engineers and colleagues.
