Staff Frontend Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, manage, and enhance dependable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, and backend services for customer usage and billing workflows.

• Create and sustain backend APIs utilizing Golang and Node.js, along with user interfaces built with TypeScript and React.

• Architect and oversee integrations with NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud marketplaces.

• Develop and automate business logic related to usage metering, pricing, promotions, and billing reconciliation.

• Collaborate with product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, and related AppCore teams.

• Address technical debt, enhance CI/CD pipelines, strengthen test coverage, and boost observability and resilience.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship.

• Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall enhancements, and stack simplification.

• Improve runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery protocols.

• Debug across service boundaries and take ownership of production system behavior.

• Design microservices and systems.

• Coordinate with product teams and UX.

• Respond to customer inquiries and feedback.

• Participate in the follow-the-sun OnCall rotation when prepared.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of fully remote work experience.

• Experience working on a large SaaS platform and addressing distributed systems challenges such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.

• Strong professional expertise in Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.

• Proven experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through to product launch.

• Ability to write clean, robust, well-tested, and maintainable code.

• Experience mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative, asynchronous setting.

• Capability to decompose complex challenges into modular, incremental solutions.

• Willingness to collaborate across teams and align efforts with external stakeholders.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Jsonnet.
