Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale frontend applications for both web and mobile platforms.

• Develop and enhance high-performance applications utilizing React and React Native.

• Establish and uphold frontend best practices, focusing on performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Create shared component libraries, design systems, and frontend infrastructure to boost team productivity.

• Lead initiatives to enhance application performance, reliability, and overall user experience.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to produce cohesive, user-centric features.

• Provide mentorship to junior frontend engineers.

• Shape the technical direction and frontend strategy across various product domains.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate frontend and cross-stack challenges.

• Engage closely with users to influence the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, primarily focusing on frontend development.

• Proficient in developing Claude/Cursor skills that enhance frontend best practices.

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.

• Experience in architecting and scaling complex frontend applications and systems.

• Strong grasp of performance optimization, state management, and frontend architectural patterns.

• Experience in building and maintaining design systems or shared component libraries.

• Familiarity with mobile development, such as React Native or similar technologies, is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of APIs and backend interactions, including REST and GraphQL.

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor fellow engineers.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with a product-focused mindset.

• Comfortable working in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
