Staff Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create high-traffic user interfaces for enterprise-level e-commerce platforms utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3.

• Implement frontend functionalities aimed at enhancing user experience and boosting conversion rates.

• Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and designers on design systems and feature implementations.

• Participate in architectural decision-making alongside the Tech Lead.

• Assess emerging web technologies.

• Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews and automated testing processes.

• Contribute to shaping team retrospectives.

• Further develop shop features and designs in an agile Scrum environment using Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS.

• Ensure quality and meticulous design implementation with tools such as Vitest and Playwright.

• Share knowledge and collaborate within the internal tech community.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Practical experience with TypeScript and Vue 3, Nuxt 3, or Node.js; alternatively, strong skills in ReactJS with a readiness to transition to Vue.

• Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS.

• A background in B2C e-commerce or experience from a dynamic boutique agency setting.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.

• Initial experience with Vue Storefront or SCAYLE is an advantage.

• Experience with Redis is a bonus.

• A passion for web accessibility is a plus.
