Staff Front End Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create front-end web applications for Parkade's B2B2C SaaS platform dedicated to private parking management.

• Make informed architectural and design choices based on previous successes and lessons learned.

• Implement AI in a practical and responsible manner for both individual tasks and team initiatives.

• Generate high-quality output with the support of AI while exercising seasoned staff-engineer judgment.

• Actively contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic startup culture.

• Continuously enhance technical skills through proactive learning.

• Report directly to the VP of Engineering.

• Travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview and occasionally for work purposes if hired.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical front-end experience in developing commercial applications.

• Strong passion for and expertise in front-end web development.

• Willingness to travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview and, if employed, occasionally thereafter.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship, both currently and in the future.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, TanStack Router, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Pineapple Express, Vitest, Playwright, Stripe, Firebase, and Sentry.

• Knowledge of Python or a similar back-end programming language is advantageous.

• Experience in setting up and enhancing CI/CD infrastructure is a plus.

• Background in building significant projects from the ground up is an added benefit.
