Front End Engineer – iGaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain front-end components for slot and casino games utilizing PixiJS and Svelte.

• Execute reel mechanics, win presentations, bonus features, and UI/UX workflows based on design and animation specifications.

• Connect game clients with backend/RGS APIs to ensure precise round states, balances, and result displays.

• Enhance performance, load times, and responsiveness for both desktop and mobile browsers.

• Collaborate with artists, animators, game designers, math developers, and QA to produce polished, certification-ready games.

• Write clean, reusable, well-tested code and contribute to shared libraries and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development, including at least 1 year in iGaming or game development.

• Strong proficiency in PixiJS (WebGL/WebGPU rendering, sprites, containers, filters, particles, tweening) for 2D game creation.

• Solid experience with Svelte / SvelteKit and modern TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience in optimizing real-time rendering and asset loading for web and mobile browsers (60 FPS targets, texture atlases, memory profiling).

• Knowledge of responsive layouts, cross-browser/device compatibility, and iGaming compliance requirements (e.g., responsible gaming, game history, regional regulations).

• Proficient in English.

• Experience in developing slot games on Stake Engine, including integration with its game server (RGS) APIs and front-end SDK.

• Experience in integrating Spine animations (e.g., pixi-spine) into PixiJS games.

• Familiarity with slot game mechanics (cascades, respins, cluster pays, multipliers, bonus rounds) and concepts of RTP/volatility.

• Proficient with Vite, Vitest/Playwright or similar tools, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong technical foundation (e.g., Computer Science / Maths Degree or equivalent).
