This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of and enhance CI/CD infrastructure utilizing GitHub Actions and Kubernetes, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and developer efficiency.
• Automate mobile release processes, including building, signing, distributing binaries, and managing app store submissions for iOS, Android, and Chrome.
• Manage and enhance automated end-to-end testing using Maestro and Playwright for both mobile and web applications.
• Enhance pipeline performance, reliability, and observability to facilitate rapid and high-confidence releases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve SDLC and developer experience, including the development of preview environments and Appetize tools.
• Ensure that build, release, and deployment systems adhere to security and compliance standards for financial products.
• Establish standards and lead enhancements across build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams.
• Over 8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience operating at a senior or staff level.
• Extensive experience with AWS and CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience in supporting CI/CD and release infrastructure for production mobile applications, specifically iOS and Android.
• Background in financial services, fintech, or similar environments with significant security and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated history of enhancing developer workflows and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with React Native and/or Expo, mobile preview environments, or Appetize.
• Nice-to-have: Experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency.
