📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead and foundational architect for the global data platform team.

• Collaborate with engineering management and stakeholders to establish the long-term architecture of the event-driven platform.

• Develop agentic AI frameworks and steer the technical direction of the team.

• Work alongside the Principal Data Engineering Manager to design and strategize core platform architecture, selecting appropriate tools, technologies, and system patterns.

• Create systems and security guardrails for agentic experiences while mitigating data leakage in multi-tenant environments.

• Develop data orchestration and modeling strategies, promoting querying best practices and architectural standards.

• Collaborate with Infosec, SRE, and executive leadership to ensure platform initiatives align with compliance, security, and business objectives.

• Mentor Senior Engineers on intricate design patterns, code quality, and the adoption of modern data platform tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in data platform architecture and data engineering, with a proven history of influencing technical strategy and system design.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and AWS data platform services.

• Extensive experience in designing event-driven architectures that operate at scale (handling thousands of events per second).

• Practical knowledge or significant domain exposure to agentic AI workflows, LLM integration, and AI safety guardrails.

• Demonstrated ability to convert complex business requirements into data architecture and effectively communicate technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders.
