Staff Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Advance engineering and data enrichment workflows throughout the organization

• Create comprehensive visibility into workflows, covering both technical performance and business outcomes

• Establish metrics and alerts that prompt proactive measures, predicting potential failures

• Standardize reusable workflows for other products, ensuring clear agreements and safe reprocessing

• Enhance Python code to guarantee scalability and computational efficiency

• Anticipate capacity and cost constraints, aiding decisions regarding growth and onboarding new customers using data

• Assess and choose architectural solutions, considering cost, complexity, and reversibility

• Validate and ensure a robust architecture for cloud solutions

• Collaborate with various teams to foster the development of new products and uphold data quality

• Sustain the technological foundation for precise and scalable processing of health data

• Promote technical collaboration throughout the organization

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Engineer with a significant level of autonomy

• Demonstrated experience in building data platforms

• Advanced skills in Python programming

• Strong foundational knowledge in data architecture and cloud infrastructure

• Experience in deploying applications and optimizing systems

• Official Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certification — preferred

• Hybrid profile with a background in Software Engineering or Machine Learning — preferred

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline — preferred
