Staff Appraiser – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute quality desktop and field appraisal tasks within specified client-driven timelines.

• Conduct quality control assessments on intricate valuation reports, including jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth, and unique or complex properties.

• Communicate with field appraisers to discuss and address intricate or urgent revision requests.

• Tackle quality control escalations by mentoring field appraisers and liaising with clients and involved parties.

• Comprehend, implement, and uphold updated knowledge of ServiceLink policies and procedures.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of USPAP, FNMA, and relevant state regulations.

• Keep appraisal license(s) in good standing and fulfill mandatory CEU course requirements.

• Adhere to ServiceLink quality standards for the completion and delivery of appraisal reports.

• Provide prompt web updates regarding assignments.

• Conduct site visits with professionalism.

• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified real estate appraiser in Texas; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers will be considered.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Experience in appraising a diverse range of property types.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft software applications.

• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future.

• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Houston, TX market and possess appraisal expertise in this area.

• Prior valuation experience with a major lender or AMC is preferred.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Advanced designations are a plus.
