Staff Appraiser – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Execute desktop and field appraisal tasks within specified client-driven timelines.

• Conduct quality control assessments on intricate valuation reports, encompassing jumbo loans, private wealth/high net worth, and unique or complex properties.

• Communicate with field appraisers to address and resolve intricate or time-sensitive revision requests.

• Address quality control escalations by mentoring field appraisers, discussing concerns and solutions with clients, and keeping all stakeholders informed.

• Comprehend, implement, and stay updated on ServiceLink policies and procedures.

• Maintain knowledge of USPAP, FNMA requirements, and state regulations governing appraisal services.

• Uphold ServiceLink quality standards for the completion and delivery of appraisal reports.

• Provide prompt online updates on assignments.

• Demonstrate professionalism during site visits.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Appraisal Certification (Residential or General); only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers will be considered.

• Georgia real estate appraiser certification is mandatory; trainee or licensed appraisers are not permitted.

• A High School Diploma/GED is required.

• A College Degree is preferred.

• Experience in appraising a diverse range of property types.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft software applications.

• Prior valuation experience with a major lender or AMC is preferred.

• Advanced designations are advantageous.

• Maintain license(s) in good standing and complete required CEU courses.

• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship at present or in the future.

• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Atlanta, Georgia market and possess appraisal expertise in that area.
