Staff Appraiser – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Execute desktop and field appraisal tasks in accordance with client specifications

• Deliver appraisal reports that meet client-driven timelines and uphold high-quality standards

• Conduct quality review appraisals and manage quality control escalations

• Carry out quality control assessments on intricate valuation reports

• Diagnose, discuss, and autonomously resolve challenging quality control escalations with field appraisers and lender clients

• Support valuation projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Residential/General Appraiser designation is required

• A High School Diploma/GED is mandatory; a college degree is preferred

• Must hold a certified real estate appraiser designation in Michigan; only Certified Residential or Certified General appraisers will be considered

• Trainee or licensed appraisers will not be accepted

• Experience in appraising a diverse range of property types, particularly those typical of the coverage areas

• Adequate computer skills to generate appraisal reports and communicate effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft software applications

• Capability to work independently

• Dedication to producing high-quality appraisal products

• Interest in appraisal innovation and maintaining integrity

• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Detroit/Wayne County, Michigan

• Appraisal expertise in the Detroit/Wayne County area of Michigan is essential

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Must not require visa sponsorship for employment now or in the future

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
