This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the technical direction and design comprehensive AI/ML capabilities that span multiple teams and products.

• Manage the entire lifecycle from conceptualization and experimental design to production deployment.

• Develop reusable, production-grade code and reference implementations.

• Address intricate modeling challenges using predictive models and generative AI, including LLMs.

• Enhance model performance through model selection, prompting, retrieval, feature engineering, fine-tuning, and retraining.

• Set evaluation and safety standards, metrics, benchmarks, monitoring protocols, and responsible AI practices.

• Shape the technical strategy and roadmap, balancing performance, latency, cost, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Improve training, serving, CI/CD pipelines, standards, patterns, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Product, Legal, and Regulatory stakeholders.

• Mentor and offer technical guidance to fellow engineers.

• Convey complex methodologies and results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5–7 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 2–4 years of experience.

• Profound, advanced knowledge in AI/ML complemented by strong computer science fundamentals.

• Significant hands-on experience with Python and contemporary AI/ML libraries and frameworks.

• Proven history of delivering AI/ML systems to production and managing them reliably at scale.

• Familiarity with evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and MLOps best practices.

• Experience in designing scalable, cloud-based AI/ML solutions.

• Proficiency in working with large datasets in distributed environments.

• Strong adherence to software engineering and testing standards.

• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, influence, and mentoring.

• A responsible AI mindset, attentive to safety, reliability, and risk in regulated, high-stakes environments.

• A passion for AI/ML, emerging technologies, and health-sensing applications.

• Willingness to travel 5–15% of the time.
