This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL processes in cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize data models within Snowflake.
• Create transformations and business logic using dbt.
• Apply standards for analytical modeling, data validation, and quality control.
• Enhance SQL queries, data structures, performance, and operational costs in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with business, BI, and architecture teams to transform analytical requirements into technical solutions.
• Document models, data lineage, business rules, and processes.
• Manage deployments across environments, code reviews, and version control.
• Participate long-term in the Cívica team.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Strong experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt, including tests, documentation, macros, and dependency management.
• Knowledge of analytical modeling, dimensional models, data layers, and data marts.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of best practices in development and data quality.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with process orchestration tools is a plus.
• Experience with Airflow is a plus.
• Self-motivation and organizational skills.
