Senior Data Engineer – Dataiku, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize data flows in Dataiku Flow.

• Create efficient, scalable, and maintainable analytical processes and Machine Learning models.

• Extract, transform, clean, and model large volumes of data using Python and SQL.

• Utilize statistical techniques, sampling methods, and machine learning to generate predictive models.

• Develop validation methodologies and assess model performance.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, reliability, and interpretability of results.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and business teams to translate needs into technical specifications and analytical solutions.

• Integrate data, models, and analytical processes with multidisciplinary teams.

• Apply development standards, programming best practices, and methodologies that guarantee quality, maintainability, and reproducibility.

• Document flows, processes, models, and analytical results.

• Facilitate the understanding, maintenance, and reuse of assets by the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Dataiku DSS.

• Technical proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Knowledge of statistics, including sampling, distributions, and hypothesis testing.

• Understanding of supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning.

• Ability to validate and evaluate results using performance metrics.

• Capacity to analyze result quality and potential biases.

• Business orientation is preferred.

• Good communication skills are ideal.

• Comfort working in a team environment is preferred.

• Analytical skills and critical thinking are desirable.
