Mid-Level Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Data Lake environments, ensuring scalability and adherence to data governance.

• Create and construct modern, modular data warehouses that are equipped for growth and optimized for high performance.

• Develop data schemas and robust architectures in accordance with best practices in data engineering.

• Define and refine data architecture to ensure environments are reliable, scalable, and well-structured.

• Conduct exploratory analyses and assist in the development of predictive models.

• Contribute to the creation of data-driven recommendation mechanisms and processes.

• Support business squads with structured and dependable data that is poised to generate value.

• Act as a technical reference, providing support and mentorship to junior professionals.

• Collaborate actively with the team to address complex challenges and transform data into actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing ETL architectures.

• Familiarity with architectures aimed at enhancing data performance and operations.

• Practical knowledge of data management, operational databases, and relational databases.

• Prior experience with DataOps.

• Proficient understanding of programming languages and algorithms, particularly Python and TensorFlow.

• Knowledge and experience in data development and operations, including Docker and/or Kubernetes integrations and operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• GCP certifications are advantageous.
