Data Engineer, Datos Maestros – Golden Record

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop DAGs in Airflow to integrate data with internal and external APIs.

• Gather information from various sources, transform, validate, and load it into corporate master data.

• Develop and enhance processes for matching, deduplication, consolidation, and generating golden records.

• Manage the change validation flow, ensuring traceability, control, and consistent application of modifications.

• Define quality controls, business rules, and observability mechanisms to identify incidents.

• Investigate discrepancies between sources and collaborate with business and other data teams to determine the valid information.

• Document integrations, rules, and decisions to maintain solutions and preserve team knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 4 years of experience in data engineering, integrations, or master data; a shorter trajectory with equivalent seniority, autonomy, and impact is also valued.

• Strong proficiency in Python, dbt, and SQL.

• Experience in developing and maintaining DAGs in Airflow in production environments.

• Experience consuming APIs: authentication, pagination, error management, retries, and traceability.

• Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, deduplication, matching, and entity consolidation.

• Analytical skills to investigate the origin of data, contrast sources, and convert business rules into technical logic.

• Good practices in Git, testing, documentation, observability, and CI/CD.
