This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +3 more countries.
• Take charge of the establishment and configuration of the accounting module within the company's proprietary ERP system.
• Develop and organize the chart of accounts tailored to the company's product-oriented business model.
• Set up workflows for order management, purchasing, inventory receipts, and sales processes.
• Guarantee the production of accurate, audit-ready financial statements stemming from system configuration.
• Collaborate with the ERP implementation team to refine accounting logic and system architecture.
• Configure inventory accounting, which includes COGS, inventory valuation, landed costs, and necessary adjustments.
• Create processes for inventory reconciliation and physical count adjustments.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial entries related to ERP inventory movements.
• Define and set up profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting mechanisms.
• Check and reconcile reports generated by the system.
• Address any configuration gaps and discrepancies prior to the go-live phase.
• Record accounting workflows, configurations, and reporting structures thoroughly.
• Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring clean and reconciled financials.
• Aid in compliance with US tax requirements, including the setup of sales tax.
• Provide guidance to internal team members on accounting workflows.
• Identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement during the production adoption phase.
• Demonstrated US accounting experience with a solid grasp of US GAAP.
• Experience in accounting for businesses that stock and sell physical products.
• Understanding of inventory valuation, COGS, and order-to-cash workflows.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting modules and enterprise system configuration.
• Experience with at least one established ERP platform such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Acumatica, Epicor Prophet 21, Sage, Odoo, Infor, or SAP is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strict approach to maintaining accuracy in financial configurations.
• Capability to work independently and exercise sound accounting judgment.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Availability during US business hours is essential.
• Experience in configuring an accounting module during ERP implementation or migration is a plus.
• A background in wholesale, distribution, e-commerce, or product-based accounting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with US sales tax configuration and compliance is an asset.
• CPA or equivalent accounting qualification is a plus.
• Experience with custom or proprietary ERP systems is advantageous.
• An updated resume is required for application consideration.

• Compensation in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th).
