Staff Accountant – AI Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of clients with primary responsibility and ownership for maintaining engagement-level relationships.

• Assist in supervising the activities of the client accounting department.

• Provide accurate and timely financial management reports, including both internal and monthly external financial statements.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.

• Foster and maintain collaborations across various functional roles, including the OneShore team based in India.

• Review and authorize client compliance schedules.

• Oversee and evaluate client onboarding processes.

• Review and approve client accounting policies and procedures.

• Support the selection and implementation of accounting/ERP systems.

• Establish policies for cash flow, capitalization, prepaid expenses, and new initiatives.

• Manage financial relationships with vendors, banks, corporate credit cards, and payment processors.

• Supervise the tax return process and assist with requests from the tax team.

• Manage audit processes and aid in meeting requests from auditing firms.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 1-5 years of accounting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills.

• Capability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Efficiency in multi-tasking within a remote work environment.

• High attention to detail and adherence to strict deadlines.

• Experience with SaaS (preferred but not mandatory).
