SSR Spark/Scala Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Engage in the definition and automation of processes utilizing Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) within the Market Risk sector.

• Collaborate as a member of a team dedicated to shared Big Data initiatives across the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in technology-driven projects, encompassing ETL design, data modeling, testing, and data validation.

• Solid understanding of programming languages, especially Scala.

• Familiarity with Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Minimum English proficiency at B2 level, with C1 preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.

• Technical familiarity with Azure Databricks is a plus (not mandatory).

• Experience in the banking industry, particularly in Market Risk, is advantageous (not mandatory).

• Familiarity with Airflow as a workflow and pipeline orchestration tool is a plus (not mandatory).
