This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to design and implement MuleSoft APIs that meet business requirements.
• Perform technical analyses to convert business needs into actionable solutions.
• Develop RAML Specifications to serve as API contracts during the development process.
• Design and create DataWeave scripts for intricate data transformation tasks.
• Utilize API-Led Connectivity principles to establish scalable and reusable integration layers.
• Configure and oversee API policies within API Manager.
• Deploy APIs across CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, and On-Premise workers.
• Improve development workflows by automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in production support rotation for the initial months, which includes evening support shifts and two weekend days each month.
• Transition primarily to development and integration tasks following the initial support phase.
• Over 2 years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of REST/HTTP protocols.
• Ability to read and work with OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with message queues.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, including kubectl, pod logs, and namespaces.
• Familiarity with TLS, keystores/truststores, JKS/PKCS12, and certificate chains.
• Experience with JSON and XML data formats.
• Understanding of data transformation processes between systems.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK, Splunk, or similar.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/token-based authentication, including client credentials, refresh tokens, and the distinctions between 401 and 403 errors.
• Practical experience with Log4j/Log4j2, including log levels, configuration files, and output patterns.
• Basic understanding of JVM concepts such as heap, garbage collection, thread dumps, heap dumps, and common OutOfMemory issues.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities, particularly in distributed systems.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Background in supporting enterprise integrations.
• Experience in maintaining production systems.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience in fintech, automotive, manufacturing, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Willingness and ability to participate in evening support shifts and two weekend days each month during the initial support period.
