SSR Spark/Scala Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage in the formulation and automation of processes utilizing Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) within the Market Risk sector.

• Collaborate within a team dedicated to shared Big Data initiatives across the division.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology-focused projects, encompassing ETL design, data modeling, testing, and data validation.

• Proficient knowledge of Scala.

• Familiarity with Apache Spark and Hadoop.

• Advanced understanding of SQL.

• English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level, ideally C1.

• Basic understanding of Shell scripting.

• Technical familiarity with Azure Databricks (considered a plus, not essential).

• Experience in the banking sector, particularly in Market Risk (considered a plus, not essential).

• Experience with Airflow as a tool for workflow and pipeline orchestration (considered a plus, not essential).
