SSR Developer, Spark/Scala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage in the definition and automation of processes utilizing Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) within the Market Risk sector.

• Collaborate with a team dedicated to shared Big Data initiatives across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in technology-driven projects, including ETL design, data modeling, testing, and data validation.

• Proficient in programming languages, especially Scala.

• Familiarity with Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.

• Advanced SQL knowledge.

• Minimum English proficiency at B2 level, preferably C1.

• Basic understanding of Shell scripting.

• Technical expertise in Azure Databricks (preferred).

• Experience in the banking industry, particularly in Market Risk (preferred).

• Experience with Airflow for workflow and pipeline orchestration (preferred).
