SRE, Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in production incidents, including conducting root cause analysis, implementing mitigation strategies, and carrying out blameless postmortems.

• Establish and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.

• Minimize repetitive tasks through automation and execute advanced troubleshooting for Linux and distributed systems.

• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies using tools like Argo CD and Flux.

• Provision and manage infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible across AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

• Oversee environments based on Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement and enhance monitoring capabilities using Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Assist development teams with a strong emphasis on Developer Experience (DevEx), resilience, performance, and cloud-native security.

• Transform incidents into opportunities for continuous improvement in the reliability and availability of Cometa Gaming’s platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with practical experience in responding to production incidents (on-call).

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), environment automation, and Site Reliability Engineering principles (SLOs, Error Budgets, and reduction of toil).

• Familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, and security tools applicable in cloud-native environments.

• A proactive attitude toward investigating intricate issues and a passion for adhering to engineering best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree.
