Senior Dev Ops Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead critical DevOps and platform projects from the design phase to production.

• Stay actively involved with infrastructure and daily technical operations.

• Develop and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee Kubernetes, containerized, and serverless production environments.

• Promote automation through infrastructure as code.

• Enhance reliability, security, observability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Diagnose and resolve complex production challenges.

• Provide and communicate technical recommendations effectively.

• Guide and mentor team members with technical expertise.

• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to boost productivity, automation, and delivery.

• Investigate new technologies and propose enhancements to the platform and workflows.

• Report directly to the VP of Product Technology & Platform.

• Collaborate with team members across India, the UK, and Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in DevOps, cloud, platform, or infrastructure engineering.

• Senior or Lead-level experience while maintaining a hands-on approach.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

• Significant background in building, operating, and troubleshooting critical production systems.

• Strong technical judgment and the ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal oversight.

• Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers.

• Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Ability to communicate naturally and independently in English across all business contexts without reliance on AI support, translation tools, or similar resources.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proven ability to work effectively with teams distributed across different geographical locations.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries (notable qualification).

• AWS certifications and experience in incident management (notable qualifications).

• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry (notable qualification).

• Experience with both AWS and Azure (notable qualification).

• Experience utilizing AI-powered operational tools, agents, MCP integrations, or RAG solutions (notable qualification).
