This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Provide personalized coaching, mentoring, and student support across BARBRI programs.
• Assist students in their studies by offering academic support, accountability, and strategies for exam success.
• Facilitate virtual coaching and mentoring sessions for SQE students and other BARBRI learners.
• Address student inquiries and escalations, recognizing when additional support or referrals are necessary.
• Actively reach out to students through messaging and outreach to enhance participation, progression, and course completion.
• Share insights and knowledge about the legal industry to help students prepare for legal practice and qualification.
• Collaborate with Learning Delivery, Operations, and Learning & Content teams to promote student success and ongoing improvement.
• Keep precise records of student information and provide feedback using BARBRI's CRM, LMS, and other educational platforms.
• Assist in the review and quality assurance of learning materials, study plans, and resources for student support.
• Engage in marketing events, webinars, and activities that involve students as needed.
• Serve as a BARBRI ambassador and contribute to the global Learning Delivery team.
• Qualified Solicitor and/or Barrister of England and Wales.
• Candidates must possess the right to work in the United Kingdom without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
• Temporary work authorization is not eligible.
• Prior experience in coaching, mentoring, teaching, tutoring, academic support, or professional skills development.
• Strong legal knowledge and comprehension of legal practice.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience working with diverse student, client, or professional populations in both virtual and in-person environments.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and eager to learn CRM, LMS, and other educational technology platforms.
• Preferred: experience in supporting students preparing for the SQE or other professional legal qualification examinations.
• Preferred: PGCHE, FHEA, or equivalent teaching or educational qualification.
• Preferred: experience in coaching or mentoring adult learners within a professional education context.
• Preferred: understanding of learning theories, coaching methods, and strategies for student engagement.
• Preferred: experience with CRM, LMS, or other educational technology platforms.
• Preferred: experience working with employer-sponsored or institutional student cohorts.
• Preferred: knowledge of student wellbeing support and escalation procedures.
