This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Primavera P6 EPPM along with its associated components, such as Web Access, Integration APIs, and BI Publisher.
β’ Set up global and project-specific configurations, including calendars, EPS/WBS structures, activity codes, and UDFs.
β’ Monitor database performance, optimize configurations, and fine-tune for enhanced speed.
β’ Oversee user access, establish permissions, and enforce security policies.
β’ Develop and implement backup and restore plans to ensure effective data recovery.
β’ Provide primary support, training, mentoring, and troubleshooting assistance for P6 users, schedulers, project managers, and planners.
β’ Advocate best practices in schedule management and system utilization.
β’ Maintain standards, procedures, and system configurations.
β’ Collaborate with IT, developers, Primavera support, and Oracle support teams on operational issues, escalated matters, and patch management.
β’ Ensure data integrity is upheld across projects and portfolios.
β’ Create and uphold integrations with other enterprise systems.
β’ Report directly to the Senior Manager, SPMO PM Systems, Operations, and Analytics.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 7 years of experience managing P6 Primavera applications and providing project management scheduling support.
β’ At least 5 years of proven expertise in Primavera P6 EPPM, including schema, background jobs, and administrative guides.
β’ Proficiency in Oracle Database, including skills in SQL, tuning, backup/recovery, and security.
β’ Strong knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting for automation purposes.
β’ Familiarity with P6's intricate enterprise structure for project management support.
β’ Extensive understanding of Oracle RDBMS, covering installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
β’ Advanced skills in SQL scripting for complex queries and report generation.
β’ Experience with PL/SQL automation and scripting languages like Shell or Python.
β’ Proven experience in tuning the P6 database (EPPM/PPM), particularly during cleanup and resource-intensive operations.
β’ Experience in implementing security measures, managing user access, and ensuring data integrity within the P6 environment.
