Speech Language Pathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate children and adults experiencing communication disorders.

• Compose comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Create tailored treatment plans for both children and adults with communication challenges.

• Deliver teletherapy services to individuals facing communication disorders.

• Track and document the outcomes of treatment programs.

• Draft treatment reports.

• Collaborate with other members of the client’s support team, particularly family and parents.

• Discuss treatment matters with supervisory personnel.

• Conduct educational sessions for staff and the community.

• Supervise support staff in a team environment.

• Directly contact and schedule appointments with clients, mainly in the Pacific Time Zone between 8 AM PST and 6 PM PST.

• Monitor and manage clients’ progress report deadlines.

• Adhere to CSLOT's cancellation and rescheduling policies.

• Familiarize with CSLOT's payor-source services and necessary authorizations.

• Provide continuous support for CSLOT's marketing initiatives.

• Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned.

• Report directly to the Regional Program Manager/Vice President of Clinical Programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.

• A valid license to practice speech pathology in the State of California.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or actively pursuing this certification.

• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week.

• Must be available to begin work at 3:00 PM PST and remain available until at least 7:00 PM PST.

• Availability on Fridays is mandatory.

• Capability to deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and treatments for both children and adults.

• Proficiency in providing teletherapy services.

• Ability to work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office when suitable.
