Specialty Services Program Manager

📋 Description

• Establish and expand a Specialty Analytical Services (SAS) Program/Division by optimizing sales through a strategic approach.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the SAS Program/Division, delivering training and insights to both staff and clients.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis, review industry trends, and forecast growth to formulate sales and marketing strategies.

• Attend and engage in technical conferences and national trade shows to showcase expertise and generate new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with Sales Teams and Marketing to offer expert guidance to current and prospective clients.

• Set sales targets and revenue goals to enhance market presence.

• Draft and evaluate proposals, marketing collateral, presentation materials, and training resources.

• Provide detailed analysis, interpretation, and advisory support to customers, staff, management, and functional leaders.

• Develop recommendations for product and service features based on customer requirements and technical capabilities.

• Coordinate customer feedback, resources, and responses efficiently.

• Report on national market conditions and sales focal points to management.

• Ensure the development, implementation, and interpretation of policies and procedures while complying with relevant laws and regulations.

• Contribute to departmental efficiency and effectiveness while actively participating as a team member.

• Promote and support the overall mission of Pace Analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, operations, or a related field; AND five (5) years of experience in specialty analytical services, including experience with complex programs or operations; OR a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.

• Advanced to expert knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques in the field.

• Thorough understanding of the administration and oversight of area programs, policies, and procedures.

• In-depth knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations in the area.

• Advanced to expert skills in resolving sales and customer issues, inquiries, and concerns.

• Familiarity with various testing tools, equipment, and processing methods.

• Proficiency in computer applications and systems relevant to the work.

• Knowledge of principles and practices for effective project team participation.

• Methods for effective communication with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe and appropriate operations.

• Proficiency in correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Capability to perform intermediate to complex professional-level sales tasks.

• Experience in overseeing and managing various sales functions.

• Ability to train others on policies and procedures related to the work.

• Experience as a team member in project development and management.

• Ability to operate effectively in both team and individual contributor settings.

• Skills in interpreting, applying, and explaining relevant laws, codes, and regulations.

• Proficiency in preparing intermediate to complex account reports, correspondence, and other written documents.

• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established departmental guidelines.

• Experience delivering effective oral presentations to diverse audiences.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
