This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Actively promote the products of Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
• Cultivate and oversee business relationships with therapeutic specialists within a designated geographical area.
• Execute Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ marketing strategies and tactics to fulfill both short-term and long-term goals.
• Provide education to physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding Jazz Pharmaceuticals products and their approved uses.
• Meet individual sales targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• Organize and lead meetings to facilitate the exchange of medical and product information, adhering to company policies and regulatory/legal standards.
• Analyze business conditions, prescribing patterns, and decision-making processes in the assigned territory, noting deviations from national trends.
• Educate and influence healthcare professionals and staff on products using available resources.
• Assist offices in navigating prescriptions from necessary REMS forms through insurance requirements to patient delivery.
• Develop and implement business and territory tactical plans, including cross-functional collaboration.
• Build and sustain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals as outlined in business plans.
• Collaborate with MSL, Managed Market, and Access and Reimbursement teams to address the needs of physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients in a compliant manner.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor consistent with ethical pharmaceutical marketing policies and practices.
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct activities within assigned budgets, ensuring timely execution and reporting.
• Report directly to a Regional Sales Manager.
• Travel frequently among meeting locations, which may include extended drives, flights, and overnight stays.
• MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL SALES EXPERIENCE.
• A four-year college/university degree or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
• Preferred: At least two years of specialist sales experience.
• Current connections with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists, and sleep specialists within the designated territory are preferred.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital/account-based roles and navigation of closed access accounts.
• Preferred: Sales experience in Sleep and Central Nervous System therapeutics.
• Experience in specialty sales and/or orphan/rare disease therapeutic sales is advantageous.
• Helpful: REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience.
• Preferred/helpful: Buy and Bill experience.
• Preferred: Post-graduate business school study or training.
• Desired: Strong knowledge of product(s), competitor product(s), and relevant disease states.
• Desired: Strong understanding of the payer landscape and managed care criteria.
• Experience in planning and executing launch strategies, including push and pull-through strategies for new products.
• Required: Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
