This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Account Executive on strategies for acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
• Work alongside sales team members to ensure the successful achievement of company goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for Tempus algorithmic tests and add-ons, such as HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, and PURist, with current customers.
• Partner with Clinical Account Executives to explore upsell opportunities.
• Encourage customer adoption of online ordering via the Tempus Hub and EMR integrations.
• Seek and develop partnership opportunities between prospective oncology clients and Tempus.
• Advocate for and ensure compliance with web-based molecular information tools.
• Assess the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and relay customer feedback to Tempus leadership.
• Track sales performance to ensure that objectives are achieved.
• Create and implement a detailed territory business plan that encompasses budgets, travel, territory management, and goal setting.
• Represent the culture of Tempus to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, office personnel, and pathology departments.
• Maintain regular communication with targeted accounts.
• Coordinate Medical Affairs report reviews with physicians.
• Restock order kits and literature at accounts.
• Identify and participate in approved local conferences.
• Gather necessary clinical data and progress notes for patients tested by Tempus.
• Candidates must reside in North Houston and North Austin/Waco.
• A B.S. degree in biology, life science, business, or marketing is required.
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of relevant genomic and oncology information.
• Capability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects, and prioritize daily tasks while adhering to critical deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of market, customer, and product knowledge essential for supporting sales objectives.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Strong administrative capabilities and the sophistication to navigate complex business environments.

• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required.
• Experience in sales support within healthcare (preferably oncology or pathology) with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding expectations, or general clinical experience.
