This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and secure actionable outcomes during sales interactions.
• Attend to customer needs while fostering trusted relationships.
• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales methodologies.
• Provide market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred; alternatively, relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required when using industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree.
• A proven history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Solid business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to tailor the selling approach to match customer styles and behaviors.
• Competence in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to secure HCIR credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving standards.
