This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.

• Address objections and secure calls to action during sales discussions.

• Attend to customer needs and foster trusted relationships.

• Create and execute call plans that maximize coverage and frequency.

• Assess customer requirements, territory dynamics, competition, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales metrics.

• Communicate market insights with field, brand, and sales teams.

• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including at least three (3) years within the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry is preferred.

• A high school diploma/GED is required when qualifying through experience instead of a bachelor’s degree.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive factors.

• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Demonstrated success in sales and effective presentation skills.

• Ability to function efficiently in a matrix organization.

• Experience in leadership and peer coaching.

• Preferred background in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.

• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.

• Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.

• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material handling equipment.
