This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators (KPIs), financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.

• Manage objections and ensure calls to action during sales interactions.

• Meet customer requirements and establish trusted relationships.

• Create and execute call plans to enhance customer outreach and sales prospects.

• Gain insights into customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales strategies.

• Convey market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.

• Clearly articulate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Travel around 25% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• A high school diploma or GED is required when opting for the experience alternative.

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience is required, including at least three years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector, preferred in lieu of a degree.

• A demonstrated history of leadership success.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Robust business acumen.

• Proficient in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer styles and behaviors and adjust sales techniques accordingly.

• Effectiveness in operating within a matrix environment.

• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.

• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to acquire credentials.

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must fulfill safe driving criteria.

• Valid driver's license required.
