This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster customer relationships and identify as well as address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and conduct post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and ensure calls to action during sales interactions.
• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales prospects.
• Acquire knowledge about customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; however, relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, with three or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry.
• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Robust business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust selling techniques accordingly.
• Competent in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must comply with applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
