This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call evaluations.
• Manage objections and ensure calls to action during sales interactions.
• Create and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales methodologies.
• Provide market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• A minimum of five years of pertinent and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree, with at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.
• High school diploma/GED is required when using experience instead of a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Solid business acumen.
• Proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to discern customer style/behavior and adjust selling techniques accordingly.
• Competent in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
• English proficiency in both spoken and written form is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
