This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call evaluations.

• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings during sales interactions.

• Formulate logical and reasonable calls to action to successfully close sales calls.

• Address customer needs and cultivate trusted relationships.

• Create and implement call plans to enhance coverage and frequency for key customers.

• Gain insight into customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales practices.

• Communicate market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition with assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Comply with AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

• Travel around 25% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor's degree, with at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.

• High school diploma/GED required if using experience instead of a bachelor's degree.

• Demonstrated track record of leadership success.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Excellent business acumen.

• Proficient in the use of business tools.

• Possess strategic and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to identify customer styles/behaviors and adapt selling strategies accordingly.

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.

• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Proficiency in English preferred for non-English-speaking regions.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
