This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the marketplace.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings that arise during sales interactions.
• Create and execute call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales potential.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales proficiency.
• Communicate market insights with field personnel, brand teams, and sales leadership.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare professionals.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required, including at least three (3) years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector, in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• A high school diploma or GED is necessary if experience is used instead of a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong business insight.
• Proficient in utilizing business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to discern customer styles/behaviors and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
• Effectiveness in navigating within a matrix environment.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry.
• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and maintain good standing or be eligible for credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must comply with safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
