This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Develop pre-call strategies and conduct post-call assessments.

• Address objections and prompt actions during sales discussions.

• Attend to customer requirements and foster trusted relationships.

• Create and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage and frequency.

• Acquire knowledge of customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.

• Relay market insights to field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three (3) or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector.

• A high school diploma/GED is required when utilizing the experience alternative.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Demonstrated success in sales and strong presentation skills.

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.

• Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary HCIR credentials.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test.

• Must comply with safe driving requirements.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
