This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing targets.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, misunderstandings, and concerns while securing calls to action to finalize sales calls.
• Attend to customer needs and establish trusted relationships with clients.
• Design and execute call plans to enhance coverage, frequency, access, and sales opportunities.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales methodologies.
• Relay market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and retain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
• If lacking a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors preferred, alongside a high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrated success in leadership roles.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Sound business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Capability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and quickly adjust selling approaches.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Preferred comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Proficiency in English preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must maintain good standing and/or be eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Valid driver’s license is essential.
• Must have the ability to operate a personal vehicle, company vehicle, or powered material-handling equipment.
