This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and initiatives within the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing targets.
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and carry out post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and ensure logical calls to action during sales interactions.
• Create and execute call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales potential.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales aspects.
• Relay market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Comply with AbbVie’s business code of conduct, established policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of pertinent and equivalent industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree, with at least three years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Solid business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust the selling approach accordingly.
• Effective operation within a matrix environment.
• English proficiency, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving qualifications.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Preferred deep knowledge in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive areas.
