This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in West Virginia.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, clarify misunderstandings, and address concerns to drive actions in sales calls.
• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Design and execute call plans that enhance coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insights into customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Relay market intelligence to in-field teams, brand management, and sales management.
• Articulate AbbVie’s value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• If substituting a bachelor's degree with experience: at least five (5) years in the industry, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is required when relying on experience instead of a bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated success in leadership roles.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Excellent business insight.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust selling strategies accordingly.
• Capability to work effectively within a matrix environment.
• Compliance with HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, and fingerprinting.
• Must be in good standing or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving standards.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
