This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plans and perform post-call evaluations.
• Manage objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Meet customer needs and cultivate trustworthy customer relationships.
• Formulate and execute call plans to maximize coverage and frequency for key clientele.
• Enhance understanding of customer requirements, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales methodologies.
• Communicate market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with designated healthcare providers.
• Identify, develop, and sustain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• If lacking a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors is preferred, alongside a high school diploma/GED.
• Proven capability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and tailor selling techniques accordingly.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Documented success in leadership and support positions with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Valid driver's license.
• Capacity to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
