This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Implement brand strategies and sales initiatives in the field.
β’ Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
β’ Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.
β’ Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
β’ Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and conduct evaluations post-call.
β’ Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to successfully close sales calls.
β’ Attend to customer needs and establish trustworthy relationships with clients.
β’ Formulate and execute call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
β’ Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, the market landscape of the territory, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
β’ Disseminate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
β’ Highlight AbbVie's unique value proposition to healthcare providers.
β’ Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
β’ A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
β’ Relevant industry experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors is preferred.
β’ A high school diploma/GED is necessary when utilizing the experience alternative.
β’ Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
β’ Strong presentation skills.
β’ Robust business acumen.
β’ Proficient in the use of business tools.
β’ Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
β’ Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and modify the selling approach accordingly.
β’ Competence in operating effectively within a matrix environment.
β’ Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
β’ Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain the necessary credentials.
