This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies and carry out post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and drive calls to action during sales interactions.
• Create and implement call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales prospects.
• Assess customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical insights, and sales intelligence.
• Disseminate market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience, including at least three (3) years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• High school diploma/GED is required when opting for the experience alternative.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen along with proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Proven track record in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be qualified to obtain necessary credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
