This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the allocated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to drive calls to action during sales calls.
• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Create and execute call plans to enhance coverage and frequency for key accounts.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market conditions, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales proficiency.
• Share market insights with field teams, brand teams, and sales management.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, develop, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• At least five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience is required in lieu of a bachelor's degree, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector is preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory when qualifying through equivalent industry experience.
• A demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Excellent business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Ability to think strategically and critically.
• Competence in identifying customer styles/behaviors and adjusting selling techniques accordingly.
• Ability to operate efficiently within a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
