This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Implement the neuroscience brand strategy and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing targets.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.

• Develop objectives for pre-call planning and carry out evaluations after calls.

• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while ensuring calls to action during sales discussions.

• Meet customer needs and establish trusted relationships with clients.

• Create and implement call plans to maximize coverage and frequency for key clients.

• Gain insights into customer needs, the territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales practices.

• Communicate market intelligence to field teams, brand teams, and sales management.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.

• Travel approximately 25% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.

• If lacking a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required.

• Comprehensive understanding of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.

• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.

• Demonstrated history of success in sales and effective presentation skills.

• Capability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and comply with safe driving standards.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
