This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Implement neuroscience brand strategies and initiatives in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing aims.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to ensure actionable outcomes.
• Create and implement call plans to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Enhance understanding of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market trends, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Relay market intelligence to field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers while fostering disease-state experts and advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science sector is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required when opting for the experience alternative.
• Demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Capacity to identify customer styles/behaviors and adapt the sales approach swiftly.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical commercial sector is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Proficiency in English is preferred for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must comply with applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving criteria.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
